  5. All courses include Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) unless already held, bike/scooter hire (unless stated) and all practical test fees/certificates (where appropriate).

Due to some motorcycle examiners being moved onto car examining (due to high car wait times) waits for full licence motorcycle courses may be longer than normal this year.

Taster CBT Including bike or Scooter

A morning pre CBT lesson to see what is involved, and give you a leg up for your CBT, ideal if no experience or not sure if it is for you. It is very strongly advised that this is completed prior CBT especially if you want to ride a manual bike. Even on a taster it is assumed you can ride a peddle cycle.

CBT Training Session (with own bike)

Novice:- None rider:- but we would expect the person to have the basic balance ie Can ride a peddle cycle! If a rider falls outside these guidelines we reserve the right to advise further training or train on a lower capacity bike for safety reasons. Training runs till road ride completed or approximately 3pm whichever is sooner. Sometimes it may take longer than one session to complete CBT, additional training is charged at normal rates.

CBT Training Session (with bike or scooter hire)
